Can I use my private health insurance?Certain health insurance policies may provide a wellbeing allowance that can be used for our services. To determine if your coverage includes this benefit, we recommend reaching out to your insurance provider for confirmation. They will be able to provide you with the necessary information regarding the availability and usage of your wellbeing allowance.

Do I need to prepare for my appointment? To make the most of your doctor appointment, we will send you a link to a detailed Lifestyle Medicine questionnaire in advance. It's important to complete this questionnaire before your appointment. We suggest doing so about one week prior and making sure to book your appointment with enough time in between. This way, your doctor will have ample time to review your answers and provide you with the best possible consultation. Please remember to fill out all the required fields in the questionnaire. If a field doesn't apply to you, simply enter "N/A." Incomplete fields will prevent the form from being submitted. You will receive a confirmation message once the form is successfully submitted.

Will you write prescriptions? No, we do not prescribe medication. Lifestyle Medicine centres around important aspects like physical activity, nutrition, sleep, mental wellbeing, avoiding harmful substances, and developing positive social connections. Instead of medications, we provide "Lifestyle Medicine Prescriptions" which are SMART goals tailored to your needs. These goals are designed to support you in making lifestyle changes that can help prevent, treat, or even reverse chronic illnesses.

Can I book a follow-up appointment?Yes. We highly recommend that all our clients schedule at least one follow-up appointment. This helps ensure accountability and improves your chances of successfully making and maintaining the necessary health changes. We understand that making these changes can be challenging, and having ongoing support is crucial. Based on our experience, a single appointment may not provide the level of care and long-term assistance you need. That's why we offer follow-up appointments in all our services, including our basic consultation service. If you feel the need for additional support, you are more than welcome to book more follow-up appointments.

Are there extra costs?Yes. We do offer additional options that come with extra charges. One such option is blood tests, which can incur a significant cost. Rest assured, we are transparent about the pricing for each service, and there are no hidden costs. It's important to note that there may be additional fees for cancellations or if you arrive late for your appointment. You can find specific details regarding costs, terms, and conditions in our dedicated Terms & Conditions section, which you can access here.

Do I need a smart phone?Ideally, it would be beneficial to have a smartphone, even for our basic consultation service. Having a smartphone enables you to keep track of the lifestyle goals that you and your doctor have agreed upon. Tracking your progress is a key factor in achieving success and allows you and your doctor to identify areas where you're doing well and areas that may need some improvement. We may utilise an app to monitor certain lifestyle metrics like step count or calories. However, if you prefer, you can measure these metrics in your own way and share the information with your doctor during your follow-up appointment.

Can I cancel or post-pone my appointment? We understand that circumstances can change, and you may need to change or cancel your appointment. We kindly request that you inform us as soon as possible in such cases. If you cancel your appointment with more than 48 hours' notice, we will provide a refund. However, canceling with less notice may result in a charge. For more detailed information, please refer to our Terms and Conditions, which you can access here.
